For me Skype is a tool used to talk to my relatives all around Australia and overseas without the high cost of phone calls and the added advantage of seeing them.
I can see such an advantage of using this tool in Hospitality from talking to world known Chefs such as Jamie Oliver to celebrity chefs from television shows such as Master Chef. The motivation for students to talk face to face with these people is something that could not happen without a tool such as this.
